Linux Vs Windows Servers
Windows vs. Linux cloud hosting a VoIP and UdK question?
Hello guys! I am rethinking my hosting solution. I 5 websites and I'm looking to expand to sixth, I also have a vent, IRC and teamspeak server. As you can imagine, outsourcing all these separately is expensive. I have had practice using a local Ubuntu box with putty to get a sense of fixing these things, progress is slow at times, but stable, and I feel confident enough to go to a lot of clouds. However, I would like to take not a Web development for some time and give the UdK a go. Do you guys know if Linux will be able to manage all servers written with UdK? Also Linux can support ventilation and TS? (I'm sure he will be happy with the IRC) Thanks for your time! Just to be absolutely clear that I mean UDK Kit Development unreal. I'm sure you understand this, but I'm a Linux noobie, it could stand for something else hehe
Far your needs are concerned, preferring UDK be best option for you and if his criticism with Linux, it can support servers written with UDK.
