Microsoft Windows Update Service Pack 2?
I downloaded the Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Home Edition from the Microsoft Update. When I try to install it stops and says an internal error has occurred and that the program "exewindows32" etc. is on and then I am unable to proceed with the installation. What should I do to get this program to stop running so I can install "wsp2" or how can I get to continue installing? Thank you
If the installation was interrupted it is probably corrupted, delete it and start a scan spy Return to Microsoft and download SP2 again. Be sure to search your files for all remnants of the old and restart before downloading a new one! Enjoy!
