LOVE This little machine
I had a bit Acer 10.1 "Netbook for about six months. Loved the heart of the portability and long battery life, but the small screen and keyboard were killing me, so I sold it. After much research, I settled on this as a replacement. This little beauty is sweet. The keyboard is flexible and responsive, it gives an outside look with brushed silver look amazing photos on his screen, and it is still small and light enough to drop in a backpack. I considered buying an external DVD, but I have to share the stage DVDs on my computer and loaded the necessary software (Office 2007 Pro and Photoshop Elements 7) in this way. Saved some $ $ by buying that EDVD.
I was a bit worried about the touchpad uber-shiny and slippery, but I had no problem with it. I take advice from someone who posted a review and used the small button above the touchpad to disable it before you put the computer into day and I have not experienced the freezing of unexpected evidence reviews. As others have said, is a fingerprint magnet digital, but, well … is a touchpad.
The left side of the palm rest is a bit warmer than the right, but it is not difficult to ease.
The powers web-cam and the right images it produces are enormous. High-microphone works well for a comfortable lounge distance.

My only negative point is the sticker-fest around the palm rest. They look as if they were easily removable, but I tried to delete a andit was stuck so closely that I was afraid I'd be left with just a sticky mess behind, so I left the stickers there.

Perfect Blend – mobile and able
I bought my dm3 w / AMD few weeks ago. I have been on the market for a MacBook Pro, but when it comes time to submit my order in the Apple area commander, I decided to do further research. I could not imagine paying almost twice the DM3 for a 13-inch MacBook Pro.
I appreciate the lightness of the DM3 to 4.2 pounds. You are able to move easily from room to room with her in a hand or carried in a pocket notebook. In addition, aluminum construction and mainly let chick keyboard style is almost perfect ergonomically and aesthetically. I call it my little HP Envy.
My DM3 came with 4GB of RAM, a hard disk 500 GB, and distinct, smooth external HP branded DVD Media Drive. I like the Bluetooth and HDMI port. It makes it easy to connect to my cell or a television LCD. (I connected with BlackBerry, Palm Meadows, the Android phones, and iPhone without any problem. It also connects with other PC without any problem.)
Despite what some commentators may say, I have not experienced any delay, even with resource intensive programs like iTunes and Norton Security Suite running in the background. I regularly took YouTube running with Microsoft Word, iTunes Norton Security Suite and runs a virus scan in the background and not experienced a significant delay performance.

Elegant, Powerful, yet mobile computer – I love mine
This computer laptop is beautiful. Thank you, HP, and finally compete with Apple with something that does not kill my budget. The mouse on this particular laptop can get strangely fat and get stuck in a weird zoom mode, but the only fault I found in more than seven months of use. I am a software developer and it worked very well (even Windows 7 pretty much rocks) for the development, implementation of several programs and VMS, watching movies, etc. The lack of an optical drive annoyed me once, but the size is so convenient and there are plenty of USB ports for file transfer. The sleek look Garner does not look when I visit cafes. This laptop rocks.

Great – but no Bluetooth on DM3-1140
Let me first say that it's by far the best mobile I've computer never used. I do a lot of web browsing, email and MS Office applications, as well as Skype. This laptop takes care of everything, and never LAG, trolling or shows signs of overload. I was a little apprehensive about the lack of a DVD player, so I went out and bought one that I keep in the office. I did not want I got it with me. The DM3-114-is so small, light and thin, it is truly amazing. The battery life, while nothing like 10 hours advertised, is easy to use solid 4-5 hours for me. Maybe more if I turned down the brightness of the screen, I think.
But if you buy the DM3-1140, it has no Bluetooth! The comments of the DM3-1140-1130 and DM3 are mixed on Amazon, and apparently, the DM-1130 has bluetooth. So when you lookat the refviews for 1140, 1130 you will see comments that speak of Bluetooth. But I assure you that the 1140 did not. Even called HP and verified. So, if Bluetooth is a dealbreaker for you, you do not get it with the 1140. Although this was a disappointment for me, I am also very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

Great machine for the price
I was looking for a netbook powerful because the 10.1 "netbooks out there are simply too slow and too small. I bought (then returned) the 1201N, a 12 "netbook with almost the same incredible features, and for almost the same price as the HP DM3-1130US.
The following are what influenced me to go to the DM3 1130US-1201N: AMD 64-bit and 32-bit Intel. 4GB RAM cons 2 GB RAM, 320 GB 7200 rpm vs. 250 GB 5400 RPM drive, brushed aluminum case vs. case fingerprint magnet plastic, 5-in-1 card reader vs 2-in-1 reader card, 4 USB ports vs 3 USB ports, touchpad Chrome vs. track pad dimples. And finally, a $ 50 rebate from HP which makes it less expensive than the Asus netbook.
I have lost a number of things that I can live without: 1080p full HD capability when connected to an external monitor / HDTV, track pad rinsed which does not allow dust into cracks, the portability of 12 "vs 13" – but I could not see.
Otherwise, both machines have features incredible for the price. This does not mean 1201N is a bad machine. It is not. The two machines are the top lines. The DM3-1130US HP gives better value for less money right now.

Grande great computer!
Neither MacBook Pro like me! I like computers and laptops have owned over the years, while Mac PowerBook Dell Mini. I thought for a long time to buy a new MacBook Pro. I liked the size (13-inch model) and the appearance and brushed silver most applications. What I did not like was the price and the fact that I could not use Office OneNote (as a teacher and a mother is a software that I really can not live without!) on the Mac without buying Windows 7 and Parallels. What some playing around the computer stores with both Macs and others and fell upon this dm3 HP. I loved the first contact. It is solidly built, nice looking, light, and perhaps more important to me, Hurry! I do not play computer games, but do a lot of web surfing, watching videos, and lots, use of photo and video applications. This little guy is just as fast as my desktop larger and much more expensive alternative, and simply as my breath Dell Mini leaving the water. Not even in the same league!
If I could give this more stars, I … is a fast, elegant 13-inch (Just the right size) computer that is as pretty as the MacBook Pro. I'm not a big fan of keyboards, I always use a mouse. That being said, I really love it!
I would be remiss not to mention that the service at Amazon is absolutely none preliminary. I originally ordered Asus 13-inch one, but I changed my mind after reading some comments on the wireless capabilities (Plus, I kind of panicked buying something I never really touched.) After playing with it at the shop was really special arrangement for me. They have the best customer service on this planet, and I never buy my computers from anywhere else. Note also purchased … the 3-year SquareTrade warranty, including spills, etc. I had an older MacBook (6 years) I had a warranty on SquareTrade. He died one day, I mailing, and I had my full purchase price in my bank account within a week. Very well worth the money! PS This The only criticism I've ever written that I was a loyal fan Amazon for years. Guess that shows how much I love this machine!
