Erase your internet history
Your browser stores temporary files and records several stories of navigation while you surf the Internet. These information is stored on your computer hard drive. You must erase your Internet history after each browsing session so that others can not track the websites you have visited.
Before you start talking about erasing Internet history from your PC, you should have some knowledge of what the history of navigation and temporary files are. history of navigation are the paths of the web pages visited by you. On the other hand, temporary files are composed of caches. These could be photos stored by your browser so that you can access it again with ease.
Although there is no harm if you do not delete these stories Navigation and temporary files, they are likely to be the main threats to your privacy as any person sharing the same computer can know your online browsing habits. In addition, many space on your computer is eaten by these stories and navigation files. So it is wise to erase your Internet history. You can do this by following the steps below:
For Internet Explorer:
After choosing Internet Options from the Tools menu, click the "General" tab when the Internet Options window opens. To delete the cached files, choose the "Delete" in the Browsing section. A window will open to where you will find several sections as the form data, cookies, passwords, Internet files temporary and history. If you want to delete only certain selected files, click the corresponding buttons that you can see in this section. However, to erase your Internet history completely by a simple click, go for the "Clear History" or "Delete All". You find this button at the bottom of your browser window.
For Firefox:
Clear your Internet history is a breeze if you use Mozilla Firefox. To begin, open the menu by selecting "Tools" then click "Clear Private Data". The window that opens after this step has different sections such as saved passwords, browsing history, cookies, search history and saved form. Check the boxes that section to remove the selected items. However, if you want to delete your Internet history completely, click "Clear Private Data Now".
For AOL (America Online):
Locate the "Settings" button in your browser window upscale segment. Click on this link first and then "Preferences". After that, choose "Toolbars and sound," then click "Clear History Trail Now" to clear your Internet history.
Besides the steps above, you must also clear all third party applications you have installed on your computer. As these applications store text, passwords, images and other sensitive statistics on your hard drive to erase the failure between them will make your browsing habits vulnerable to be known by others using the same PC. To perform this task, you can even use some software such as find and delete these files manually difficult.
